Logistics & Procurement Specialist (60% Logistics / 40% Procurement)

Job Summary We're looking for a Logistics & Procurement Specialist to support our supply chain activities, with a primary focus on logistics operations and a secondary focus on procurement activities . The role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth movement and timely delivery of materials while supporting purchasing activities and supplier coordination. Key Responsibilities Logistics: 60% Coordinate the movement and delivery of raw materials, packaging materials, and other company requirements.

Follow up on local and international shipments from dispatch until delivery.

Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, freight forwarders, and customs/clearing agents when required.

Prepare and follow up on shipping and logistics documents.

Monitor delivery schedules and proactively follow up on delays or issues.

Coordinate with Warehouse, Production and other concerned departments to ensure timely material availability.

Track shipments and maintain accurate logistics records.

Support the preparation of logistics reports and delivery status updates.

Assist in optimizing transportation arrangements and logistics costs.

Procurement: 40% Support the procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and other assigned requirements.

Source potential suppliers based on approved specifications and purchasing requirements.

Request and collect quotations from suppliers.

Prepare quotation comparisons and purchasing recommendations.

Follow up on purchase orders and supplier delivery commitments.

Coordinate with internal departments to clarify purchasing requirements and specifications.

Maintain updated supplier and purchasing records.

Follow up with suppliers regarding order status, delivery dates, and outstanding requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, Chemistry, Science, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in logistics, procurement, supply chain, or a similar role.

Strong experience in logistics and transportation coordination is preferred.

Experience in a chemical\Paints or manufacturing environment is highly preferred.

Good knowledge of local and international logistics processes.

Basic knowledge of procurement and supplier sourcing.

Good command of Microsoft Excel and MS Office .

Experience with ERP systems such as ( Preferably Odoo ).

Good communication and follow-up skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Good problem-solving skills.
