Service Technician for Vaggeryds Maskin

Vaggeryds Maskin AB is looking for a service technician who is passionate about repairing, installing, and troubleshooting machines. About the role

As a service technician, you will play an important role in our operations by ensuring that our machines and equipment function optimally. You will work on-site at our customers' locations and be responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of various types of machines, including elevators, cranes, and vehicle lifts. The role requires a high degree of independence, as you will often work alone at customer sites. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to lead small groups during assembly projects, giving you a chance to develop your leadership skills. When there are no service calls to attend to, you will assist with production in Vaggeryd.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we are looking for a person with the following qualifications:

• Good ability to find faults and a passion for repairing machines.
• Very good social competence to meet customers in a professional manner.
• Basic knowledge of electricity to be able to troubleshoot electrical problems.
• Basic mechanical competence for troubleshooting and repair.
• Preferably experience in service or assembly within relevant areas.
• Ability to work independently and plan your work effectively.
• Driving license B.
• Ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written.

Job duties

Your main duties will include:

• Troubleshooting and repair of machines and equipment on-site at customers.
• Performing scheduled service and maintenance.
• Planning and organizing your own tasks to ensure efficient workflows.
• Leading small groups during assembly projects, which includes planning and coordination.
• Documenting completed work and reporting to management.
• Collaborating with colleagues and customers to ensure high customer satisfaction.
