At the Althofen location, we are expanding our great team by 1 IT Systems Engineer (m/w/d). Shape the IT infrastructure of one of the most technologically advanced production sites worldwide.

You will shape this area by:

• You continuously maintain and further develop the server, client, and network infrastructure of our production site.

• As part of our 2nd Level Support, you analyze malfunctions, identify their causes, and ensure sustainable solutions.

• You work on exciting infrastructure and IT projects and actively contribute your ideas.

• You are enthusiastic about modern technologies, follow current developments, and implement new solutions in a practical manner.

• Together with the global IT network, you ensure stable and secure IT operations.

What we value in you:

• Completed IT training as well as professional experience in a comparable position

• Experience in the maintenance and further development of IT infrastructures, especially in the areas of Virtualization, Storage & SAN, LAN & WLAN, Firewalls, DNS & DHCP, Backup & Recovery, IT-Security

• Very good knowledge in the Microsoft environment (Clients, Server, Active Directory)

• Knowledge of Linux operating systems is an advantage

• Very good English skills in spoken and written form

• Analytical mindset as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
