- Identify and deliver manufacturing continuous-improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Use SPC and production data to improve process capability and manufacturing performance.
- Support ESG objectives, reporting requirements and sustainable and ethical business practices.
- Support the wider business with relevant regulatory and legal compliance, including machinery safety and PUWER requirements.
About You
- At least five years' experience in a quality-focused role within manufacturing, engineering or a similarly regulated environment.
- Strong experience maintaining and improving ISO-based management systems.
- Good knowledge of quality tools, root-cause analysis, corrective action, auditing, SPC and continuous improvement.
- Previous leadership or people-management experience, with the ability to coach and influence colleagues across different departments.
- Strong customer-facing communication and report-writing skills.
- A practical, organised approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities and improvement projects.
- Good data-analysis and IT skills, including confident use of Excel.
- Desirable experience: A scientific or engineering degree, NEBOSH Certificate, ISO Lead Auditor qualification, Six Sigma Green Belt, Minitab experience or experience of ERP/business-systems projects. Knowledge of IATF 16949 and/or AS9100 would also be beneficial but is not essential.
