An opportunity to lead in a global company as a Senior Economist!

The global company FLEX is recruiting a Senior Economist for the financial team! We are looking for a professional economist with high analytical abilities, systemic vision, and the ability to work with multiple interfaces in Israel and worldwide. As part of the role, you will perform in-depth financial and operational analysis, build forecasts and business scenarios, work closely with site management and global interfaces, alongside leading improvement, automation, and financial control processes.

Nature of the role;

• Performing financial and operational analyses and supporting month-end closing processes
• Preparing forecasts, building financial models, and What-If scenarios
• Analyzing customer, product, and project profitability alongside identifying business risks and opportunities
• Controlling OPEX and CAPEX budgets, variance analysis, and performance monitoring
• Preparing management reports, presentations, and business insights for management
• Routine work with diverse interfaces, including management, operations, supply chain, and global teams
• Leading initiatives for process improvement, automation, and streamlining financial processes

Mandatory requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Industrial Engineering and Management, or a relevant financial field
• Previous experience in FP&A, financial analysis, budget control, or Business Partnering roles in a manufacturing and/or global organization
• Experience in building forecasts, budget planning, and P&L analysis
• Experience in managing and analyzing OPEX, CAPEX, Payroll, and Headcount
• Very high proficiency in Excel and building financial models
• Ability to prepare high-level management presentations and management reports
• Very high level of English
• Ability to work with multiple interfaces in Israel and abroad

Significant advantages

• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or electronics environment
• Familiarity with ERP systems, BAAN, and financial operational systems
• Experience in analyzing various manufacturing aspects, PPV, Costing, or Customer Profitability
• Experience in Quote vs Actual and NPI processes
• Familiarity with Lean environments, process improvement, and automation
