We are consistently developing our digital design processes and strategically restructuring the management of our CAD design services. To achieve this, we are centralizing the decision on whether design orders will be processed locally in our laboratories, via international design partners, or with the help of AI-based solutions in the future.
In this newly created key position, you will actively help shape this structure. You will manage and develop our international network of CAD design and AI partners, ensure uniform quality standards, and ensure that design orders are optimally distributed in terms of quality, capacity, speed, and economic efficiency.
In doing so, you will combine dental technology know-how with digital competence, supplier management, and strategic process control – and together with our locations and partners, create the foundation for scalable CAD design processes within the Flemming Dental Group.
Your Tasks Central Design Management: Together with us, you will further develop the strategic management of our design orders and ensure optimal distribution between local laboratories, offshore design partners, and AI-based solutions. Supplier Management: You will select international CAD design and AI partners, accompany their onboarding, and continuously develop existing partnerships. Quality & Performance: You will define and monitor quality and performance standards and keep an eye on relevant KPIs such as design quality, turnaround times, and partner performance. Partner Development: You will train and coach our international design partners, provide structured feedback, and derive concrete measures for quality and process improvement. Operative Management: You will coordinate and schedule design orders based on customer requirements, indications, capacities, and defined sourcing criteria. Interface Management: You will be the central contact person for our locations, internal teams, and external design partners and ensure smooth cooperation. Roll-out & Scaling: You will accompany the introduction and further development of central design management in our laboratories and support the locations in implementing new processes. Digital Further Development: You will actively contribute your experience to the further development of our digital sourcing platform as well as our CAD and AI processes.
Your Profile You have completed training as a Zahntechniker (m/w/d), ideally with further training to become a Zahntechnikermeister (m/w/d). You have sound experience in digital CAD-Design, especially with 3Shape and/or exocad, and possess a high affinity for IT. Ideally, you have already worked with external or international design partners or gained experience in supplier management. You have high quality standards and can reliably assess dental technology designs in terms of function, precision, and aesthetics. You think in a process-oriented manner, work in a structured way, and enjoy coordinating and developing complex processes. You communicate confidently with various internal and external stakeholders and bring intercultural competence. You have good English skills and are willing to travel. International or foreign experience is an advantage.
