Support Worker - Turkish Speaking (GOR)

Our client is looking for a caring, proactive Support Worker to provide person-centred care for adults who are neurodiverse, including people with autism and learning disabilities.

Advanced or fluent spoken Turkish is a genuine occupational requirement for this role. You will support a resident who speaks Turkish and help interpret their needs. Applicants must be able to communicate confidently with them in Turkish.

The Role

You will help people follow daily routines, build day-to-day living skills and take part in activities they enjoy. You will work as part of a rota-based team providing 24/7 care.

What you’ll do

• Support personal, emotional and social development while promoting independence.
• Assist with personal care, medication and daily routines.
• Help a Turkish-speaking resident communicate their needs.
• Encourage participation in community, wellbeing and leisure activities, including yoga, dance, outdoor activities and trips within London or beyond.
• Keep clear, accurate records and contribute to care plans and risk assessments.
• Protect each person’s safety, dignity and wellbeing.

What we’re looking for

• Advanced or fluent spoken Turkish.
• A caring, proactive approach and the ability to follow structured plans and routines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as part of a rota.
• A journey of no more than one hour to the Wood Green location.

Care experience is welcome but not essential . Full training will be provided. Appointment is subject to two satisfactory references, a clear DBS check and valid right to work in the UK.
