Fit kitchens, tackle a mix of interior refurbishment work and take pride in a job done well. Our client is looking for an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to work alongside the owner on projects across Leeds. Multi-Trade Operative Leeds and surrounding areas Full-time Salary from £30,000, depending on experience Full UK driving licence required Start and finish times may vary with project requirements You’ll work in customers’ homes on kitchen installations and wider refurbishment projects. It’s a hands-on role with a small business where good workmanship, care in the home and practical problem-solving matter. What you’ll do Install kitchens and fitted furniture to a high standard. Carry out internal alterations, including stud walls, doorways and layout changes. Complete plastering, boarding, patching, finishing and basic plumbing work, such as connecting appliances and fitting taps and waste systems. Help with bathroom work when needed. Keep work clean and safe, maintain tools and equipment, and follow relevant regulations and manufacturer requirements. Work with the owner to plan ahead, resolve issues on site and report risks or delays promptly. Communicate professionally with customers and treat their homes with respect. What we’re looking for Proven multi-trade experience in domestic refurbishments, with confidence and competence in kitchen installation. Good plastering skills and the ability to carry out basic plumbing tasks. A full UK driving licence. Someone reliable, punctual and trustworthy who can work independently and as part of a small team. Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude and pride in producing high-quality work. Bathroom installation experience would be helpful, but it isn’t essential.
