BMC Helix AIOps Consultant (BHOM)

We are looking for an experienced consultant to support BMC Helix Operations Management (BHOM) AIOps platforms after go-live. You’ll keep the platform stable, fix issues, run upgrades, and help customers get more value from their monitoring and AIOps setup.

What you’ll do

• Provide L2/L3 support for BMC Helix BHOM AIOps environments within agreed SLAs.
• Configure and maintain event correlation, noise reduction, Situations, service health, topology and root cause analysis.
• Build and maintain service models, dashboards and monitoring policies.
• Plan and carry out upgrades, patches and migrations.
• Manage integrations with BMC ITSM, Discovery, cloud platforms and third-party monitoring tools.
• Work directly with customers on issues, KPIs, reporting and improvements.
• Help customers adopt HelixGPT and Intelligent Automation where relevant.

What you need

• 7–12 years in IT operations, monitoring, managed services or consulting.
• Hands-on experience with BMC Helix Operations Management (BHOM) or TrueSight (TSOM). This is essential.
• Experience doing platform upgrades, patching and migrations yourself.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Linux and Windows.
• Experience integrating monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Prometheus or Azure Monitor.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and clear English communication.
• A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or similar.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and on-call when needed.

Nice to have

• BMC certifications (BCA/BCP in BHOM or TSOM).
• ITIL certification.
• Exposure to HelixGPT, Intelligent Automation or agentic AI.
