Superintendent - Keep our ships in top condition!

In this role, you are the technical expert who ensures that our ships remain in optimal condition worldwide. You are responsible for the management of multiple vessels, both abroad and locally.

Your tasks:

• Primary contact point: You advise captains and chief engineers, and guide them during docking, repairs, and maintenance.
• Technical improvements: You advise on necessary technical adjustments and upgrades.
• Problem solver: You assist the crew in solving technical problems, both remotely and on board.
• Maintenance: You monitor the maintenance of the ship and keep the scheduled maintenance plan up to date.
• Crew: You ensure that the crew keeps the ship in good condition.
• Projects: You can effectively mobilize projects and take a leading role.
• Certificates: You ensure that the necessary certificates remain valid.

We request:

• Technical background: You have a good technical background in the offshore or maritime industry.
• Communication: You communicate effectively in English and preferably also in Dutch.
• Flexibility: You are flexible and willing to travel.
• Location: You preferably work from our office in Den Helder.
• Education: You have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or equivalent.
• Experience: You have three years of experience in maritime or naval engineering repairs.
• Knowledge: You have knowledge of offshore operations and are familiar with the operation of DP-systems.
• Residence: You live or want to live in the Netherlands and are willing to work irregular hours and travel internationally.
• Delegation: You can delegate effectively.
• English: You speak and write English well.

We offer:

• Salary: A salary of between €4500 to €5500 gross per month, negotiable depending on experience and responsibilities.
