In the long term, the position will be part of the 24-hour manned control center, combined with work on board the ferries on Lavik–Oppedal. This provides an exciting combination of operational sea service and future-oriented work on land, while you maintain your maritime competence, maritime certificates, and seafarer's pension. The control center will be manned by both deck officers/navigators and Chief Engineers. You will report to the operational leader and collaborate closely with the ferries, the masters, and other central operational functions.
