Your area of responsibility:

• You maintain the ICT systems of our customers (also at external locations)
• You take over the administration of server and client systems both for our customers and internally
• You optimize the documentation of IT / communication structures
• You are responsible for the administration of complex network infrastructures in the LAN and WAN area
• You take care of the maintenance and support of firewall systems
• You develop new concepts for optimizing business processes
• You work in a team-oriented manner with all FirstStep employees

Who we are looking for:

Important requirements...

• You have completed vocational training as a Fachinformatiker Systemintegration (m/f/d) or a comparable training in the IT field
• You possess qualified professional experience in the mentioned area of responsibility, including project experience
• You are experienced with common server and network technologies (e.g., Microsoft Servers, Firewalls, Monitoring, Patch Management etc.)
• You have good knowledge of current Windows Client operating systems
• You recognize your customers' needs immediately and your demeanor is friendly, sympathetic, and confident
• Your English skills in spoken and written form are good

Desirable would be...

• You possess knowledge of backup architectures in virtual and physical workloads
• You have experience in virtualization with VMware and/ or with Hyper-V
• You have good knowledge of Veeam
• You bring sound knowledge in the area of Routing/Switching and experience in the area of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VLAN, WLAN and VoIP
