Role Description The Forklift Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Port Harcourt. This role is responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within the facility and yard areas. Day-to-day tasks include supporting shipping and receiving operations, organizing and stacking materials, and assisting with packing and storage. The Forklift Operator will inspect equipment before use, report maintenance needs, and follow all safety protocols and site procedures. The role works closely with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to ensure efficient material flow and accurate documentation of stock movement. Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Forklift Operation skills, including safe driving, stacking, and maneuvering in confined spaces.
• Candidates should possess skills in Shipping & Receiving to support incoming and outgoing materials, documentation, and coordination with logistics.
• Candidates should possess Material Handling and Unloading skills to move, sort, and position materials efficiently and safely.
• Candidates should possess Packing skills to prepare materials and products for storage, transport, or further processing.
• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or industrial environments is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, PPE use, and hazard awareness in a mining or heavy-industry setting is an advantage.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, basic inventory records, and standard operating procedures.
• Relevant certifications or training for forklift or industrial equipment operation are preferred.
• Reliable attendance, physical ability to lift and move materials as required, and willingness to work in outdoor and plant conditions.
