Air Freight Pricing Coordinator

We are working with a medium-sized freight forwarder seeking an experienced Pricing Coordinator to join its commercial team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and commercially focused individual with a strong air freight pricing background. You will produce accurate, competitive pricing solutions that support new business growth, strengthen customer relationships and improve commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue accurate air freight quotations and customer tariffs.
• Support the sales team in securing new business through strategic pricing and tailored freight solutions.
• Obtain and negotiate competitive rates with airlines, overseas agents and transport providers.
• Maintain pricing databases, rate sheets and customer-specific tariffs.
• Ensure all pricing activity complies with company policies and relevant industry regulations.
• Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers and internal departments by telephone and email.
• Monitor market conditions, carrier rates and competitor pricing to support commercial decisions.
• Manage multiple quotation requests while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Essential Requirements

• Previous air freight industry experience, specifically within a pricing role.
• A proven track record of contributing to new business wins through effective pricing strategies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation ability.
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant freight, logistics or pricing systems.

Desirable Experience

• Experience working with international freight networks and global customers.
• Good knowledge of Incoterms and international trade documentation.
• A customer-focused approach with the ability to develop commercially competitive solutions.

Hours and Salary

Monday to Friday Either 8:00am–5:00pm or 9:00am–6:00pm Salary dependent on experience
