Drilling Technician

Your tasks

Prepares requests for chemical reagent requirements for drilling rigs. Maintains daily records of drilling rig supply levels. Prepares reports on chemical reagent consumption and requests for fuel and lubricants (POL). Prepares schedules for cementing management services (casing cementing, casing pressure testing, blowout prevention equipment testing, drill string testing, compressor operation, PPU operation, transportation of chemical reagents). Prepares reports and justifications for deviations from the plan. Maintains daily records of POL receipt and consumption at the drilling rigs. Processes orders for the removal of waste oils to the oil depot and monitors execution. Maintains records of well completion material consumption. Prepares reports on materials used during well completion (casing pipes, cement, chemical reagents). Verifies reports from drilling foremen regarding chemical reagent consumption. Participates in developing measures to prepare drilling rigs for operation during autumn-winter and flood periods and prepares execution reports. Performs clerical work. Participates in the study, generalization, and dissemination of best practices in drilling. Participates in conducting pilot and experimental work for the mastery of new equipment and technology. Processes and analyzes data on the operation of equipment and tools.

Requirements

Must know:

• regulatory legal acts, other guiding, methodological, and normative materials from higher authorities concerning the main technological equipment for drilling operations and its operating principles
• standard technological processes and production modes
• standards and technical specifications currently in production
• guiding materials on the development and preparation of technical documentation
• fundamentals of economics, organization of production, labor, and management
• Readiness for business trips
• Experience working on technological lines and with equipment manufactured in the PRC
• Knowledge of technical Chinese and English languages
• Material responsibility

Higher education — Bachelor's degree; Experience: 6 years
