English Teacher

As part of the general pedagogical teaching function: carries out professional activities in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standards (FGOS) of primary general, basic general, and secondary general education; develops and implements English language programs within the framework of basic general education programs; participates in the development and implementation of the development program of the general educational organization in order to create a safe and comfortable educational environment; carries out planning and conducting of English language lessons; conducts systematic analysis of the effectiveness of lessons and teaching approaches; carries out organization, monitoring, and assessment of learning achievements, current and final results of students' mastery of the basic educational program in English; forms universal learning activities; forms skills related to information and communication technologies (ICT), forms motivation for learning in children; carries out objective assessment of students' knowledge and skills based on testing and other control methods in accordance with the real learning capabilities of schoolchildren, while applying computer technologies, including text editors and spreadsheets; conducts control and assessment work during teaching using the latest assessment methods in the context of information and communication technologies (maintaining electronic documentation, including electronic journals and diaries).

As part of the educational and upbringing labor function: regulates student behavior to ensure a safe educational environment in English lessons, maintains attendance discipline, respecting the human dignity, honor, and reputation of children; implements modern, including interactive, forms and methods of educational work, using them both in English lessons and in extracurricular activities; sets educational goals that contribute to the development of students, regardless of their abilities and character; monitors students' compliance with the rules of conduct in the English language classroom in accordance with the School Charter and the Internal Regulations of the general educational organization; facilitates the realization of the educational opportunities of various types of student activities (learning, research, project, creative); promotes the development of students' cognitive activity, independence, initiative, and creative abilities, the formation of a civic position, the ability to work and live in the conditions of the modern world, and a culture of a healthy and safe lifestyle.

As part of the developmental labor function: carries out the design of a psychologically safe and comfortable educational environment in English language classes.

Requirements

• Language proficiency. Level no lower than B2 CEFR; for high school and exam preparation, C1 is desirable. The teacher must be able to conduct a lesson fluently in English, correctly explain nuances, and check work.
• Knowledge of teaching methodology. Communicative approach, techniques for all types of speech activity (listening, speaking, reading, writing), differentiated tasks, working with errors.
• Understanding of developmental psychology and pedagogy. Ability to motivate, take into account perception characteristics, and build a safe educational environment.
• Knowledge of the regulatory framework. FGOS NOO/OOO/SOO, FOP, federal work programs in English, rules for assessment and documentation maintenance (electronic journal, reports).
• Inclusive competencies. Basic techniques for adapting tasks for children with disabilities (OVZ), working in multi-level groups.
• Digital skills. Use of electronic journals and diaries, testing platforms, services for interactive exercises, video conferencing, digital educational resources.
• Country-specific and intercultural knowledge. Understanding the cultural realities of English-speaking countries for the correct explanation of idioms, context, and communication norms.
