Interior Foreman (Site-based)

The duties of a FOREMAN are to control and supervise construction or interior decoration work in the field to ensure it follows the work plan efficiently. Generally, the main duties of a foreman are as follows:

• Construction Site Supervision

1. Control and supervise the work of technicians and teams to ensure it follows the plan.
2. Verify the accuracy of the work according to construction drawings or decoration drawings.

• Coordination

1. Coordinate between various departments such as Engineers, Architects, Contractors, and Project Owners.
2. Report work progress to the Project Manager.

• Material and Tool Inspection

1. Check materials and equipment to ensure they are sufficient and ready for use.
2. Request material withdrawals when necessary.

• Quality and Safety Control

1. Inspect the quality of work to meet standards.
2. Oversee the safety of laborers at the worksite.

• Field Work Planning

1. Arrange daily work schedules for each technician.
2. Plan the sequence of on-site work steps to align with the project plan.

• On-site Problem Solving

1. Make on-site decisions regarding problems, such as work not matching drawings or encountering obstacles at the worksite.
2. Coordinate with relevant parties to find solutions.

Qualifications: Male, aged 25 years and above. Bachelor's degree or higher (Civil Engineering / Architecture / Interior Decoration / Business Administration / Real Estate or other fields related to Project Management or Construction). Experience in construction supervision or Shop work within shopping malls will be specially considered. Experience in Survey work will be specially considered. Able to speak, write, and communicate in English. Able to travel upcountry and able to work at night (will be specially considered). Able to work well under pressure. Possess coordination skills and can work as a team. If you have your own car as a vehicle, it will be specially considered.
