Macroeconomic Analyst

Conducting macroeconomic analysis, preparing analytical notes, materials, and presentations based on conducted research. Assessment of changes in internal and external factors of Russia's economic development. Supporting current and participating in the construction of new macroeconomic models for the purpose of analyzing current trends and forecasting. Conducting quantitative research on specific issues of Russia's monetary, fiscal, financial, and structural policy. Quantitative and qualitative analysis of banking sector liquidity, monetary policy instruments, and other operations of the Bank of Russia and financial market participants (banking sector). Diagnosis of macroeconomic imbalances and vulnerability factors in key sectors of the economy. Quantitative and qualitative analysis of macroeconomic aggregators. Modeling and assessing the effects of mutual influence and coordination of Russia's fiscal, exchange rate, and monetary policy measures.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a similar position. Higher education in the fields of: mathematical methods of economic analysis, mathematical methods in economics, macroeconomic policy, world economy, economics. Advanced skills in collecting, processing, and visualizing statistical data, time series analysis, macroeconomic modeling, and forecasting. Ability to work with large arrays of statistical information. Knowledge in the fields of mathematical statistics, probability theory, and econometrics. Understanding of the main trends and patterns of development in macroeconomics and financial markets. Knowledge of the main theoretical approaches and technical tools for constructing macroeconomic forecasts. English language at a level no lower than advanced.
