Development of new optical ophthalmic lens products (progressive, individual designs) Design and creation of lens designs in FreeForm Designer, calculation of optical parameters in OptoCalc Configuration and administration of specialized software: OWS (calculation and management of production orders), LMS (lens and inventory management), FreeForm Designer, OptoCalc Configuration of prescription tables, equipment parameters (generators, polishing machines, blocking machines, edging machines, coating lines) and technological maps for RX lens production Verification of settlements with manufacturers and suppliers, reduction of production costs, increasing the efficiency of production processes Working with optical equipment manufacturers (Schneider, MEI Systems, Satisloh, Huvitz) and service providers for the modernization and optimization of production lines Interaction in English (B1-Intermediate) with foreign equipment manufacturers and suppliers

Requirements

Higher professional education in the specialty: Optical and optoelectronic instruments and systems, Optotechnics Work experience of 5 years or more in the field of processing and production of prescription (RX) ophthalmic lenses Experience in developing new optical products and implementing them into the production cycle Experience in designing progressive and individual ophthalmic lens designs Experience in configuring and administering specialized software Knowledge of ophthalmic lens optical materials and understanding of their optical and mechanical characteristics Proficient use of specialized software: OWS (OptoWare System) calculation and management of production orders LMS (Lens Management System) management of lenses and semi-finished goods inventory FreeForm Designer design of progressive and individual ophthalmic lens designs - desirable OptoCalc optical calculation of lens parameters Skills in configuring and administering the listed systems: creation and editing of lens designs, configuration of prescription tables, configuration of equipment parameters, configuration of technological maps Knowledge of English at the B1 Intermediate level
