Senior Foreign Buyer for a leading company in the field of automotive systems and accessories

A Senior Foreign Buyer is required for a significant and challenging role in the worlds of procurement, import, and supply chain.

What does the role include?

• Management of end-to-end foreign procurement and import processes
• Sourcing new products and suppliers, with an emphasis on the East and Europe
• Managing commercial negotiations, cost reduction, and improving procurement terms
• Order management, control, and inventory recording for a wide variety of items
• Working with shipping companies, Institute of Standards, and regulatory bodies
• Routine work with international suppliers and internal organizational interfaces

What are we looking for?

• Significant experience in foreign procurement and import – Mandatory
• Experience in managing a wide variety of items – Mandatory
• Proven experience in managing negotiations and cost reduction – Mandatory
• Experience working with shipping companies and in-depth knowledge of import processes – Mandatory
• Experience working with the Institute of Standards – Mandatory
• Very high level of English and full command of Office – Mandatory
• Affinity, familiarity, and passion for the automotive world – Mandatory
• Experience in technical procurement, electronics, and/or the automotive worlds – Significant advantage
