QC In-Process (for Jewelry Manufacturing)

Join us in inspecting and certifying the quality of high-value jewelry using international standard tools such as Loupe and Microscope, from the assembly stage, diamond/gemstone setting, to the final inspection before delivery to customers. Main Responsibilities

• Inspect the quality of workpieces in the production process (Filing, Setting, and Final QC) according to company standards and customer requirements.
• Use Loupe, Microscope, and precision measuring tools to detect defects and verify workpiece Specs.
• Verify the accuracy of shapes, assembly, gemstone setting, and the quality of finished pieces before passing them on or shipping to customers.
• Analyze quality issues and coordinate with supervisors or production technicians to resolve and prevent defects.
• Maintain a tidy workspace according to 3S principles and operate according to the company's quality system.

Qualifications:

• Vocational Certificate, High School diploma or higher in any field; a major in Gemology and Jewelry will be given special consideration.
• 6+ years of experience in Jewelry QC in the processes of Filing • Setting • Polishing • Final Inspection.
• Or 6+ years of experience in QC for small parts requiring high precision, such as Watch • Electronics.
• Good eyesight, able to observe small details and defects.
• Highly meticulous and attentive to work quality.
• Able to use Loupe, Microscope, and precision inspection tools well.
• Understanding of shapes, styles, and complex workpiece details.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to propose initial solutions.
• Able to work under pressure and within limited time.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to use English for work.
• Previously trained in ISO 9001 system (special consideration).
