Information Systems Monitoring Support Specialist
Monitoring the status of information systems, services, and IT equipment; Diagnostics of IT system and equipment malfunctions, root cause analysis; Support of open cases with vendor companies; Administration and configuration of monitoring systems; Administration of automated systems within a limited scope; Notifying officials and registering incidents based on monitoring system events; Dispatching open incidents; Updating firmware and microcode on server and network equipment; Daily monitoring and verification of IT system operations, performing routine maintenance; Drafting and maintaining up-to-date operational documentation.
Requirements
Knowledge: Unix and Windows user systems; Basic principles of corporate computer network construction; Fundamentals and regulations of information security; English language at the level of reading technical documentation in the field of information and computer technologies; Experience in administering Microsoft products (various versions of Windows, Exchange, basic AD, DNS services, etc.); Experience working with virtualization systems (VMware vSphere); Knowledge of basic network protocols and corporate network operation principles, experience with Cisco equipment is desirable; Skills in administering monitoring systems SCOM 2012/2016, Zabbix, HP SIM, HP IRS, or other monitoring systems. Experience in user support, including remote support; Experience in developing and maintaining technical documentation in the IT field. To perform their duties effectively, the Specialist must possess the following core skills and professional qualities: Ability to plan and organize their work; Ability to identify sources and causes of incidents; Ability to assess the consequences of identified incidents; Ability to monitor and ensure security levels in automated systems; Ability to make prompt organizational and technical decisions, as well as plan their activities; Ability to assess information risks in automated systems; Ability to conduct business correspondence; Ability to process large volumes of information; Experience in communicating with end users; Proficiency in using computers and other office equipment, as well as the software necessary for the job.
