Wanted: VP Information Systems and CISO

Tavol Metro, from the Egged Group, the operator of the Red Line of the Light Rail in Gush Dan and the winner of the tenders to operate the Green and Purple lines, is recruiting a VP Information Systems and CISO for a senior and significant role at the core of the company's technological activity.

The role includes business and systemic vision, technological leadership, and the ability to lead in a complex and critical operational environment, knowing how to connect technology, cyber, business needs, and operational continuity. Reporting to the CEO and a member of the management team.

Responsibilities

• Formulating and leading the strategy for information systems, cyber, and the digital transformation of the company.
• Managing all IT systems, infrastructures, communications, applications, Data, and technological innovation within the organization.
• Leading technological projects, AI solutions, and automation from the planning stage through implementation and deployment.
• Managing information systems, cyber, and NOC teams, as well as external vendors, while ensuring 24/7 availability and operational continuity (18 departmental employees).
• Responsibility for organizational information security and cyber, including risk management, regulation, audits, and compliance with the requirements of guiding bodies.
• Leading security architecture and protection solutions in IT and OT environments, including monitoring, control, and response to cyber events.
• Building work plans, goals, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and managing budgets and cross-organizational interfaces.

Job Requirements

• Relevant Bachelor's degree - Mandatory. Master's degree - Advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience in senior management of information systems and information security.
• Experience in leading IT strategy, digital transformation, and complex technological projects.
• Experience in managing infrastructure, communications, core systems, and 24/7 operational environments.
• Experience in managing cyber, information security, regulation, and risk management.
• Experience in the establishment and development of information systems, including systems analysis and technological architecture of information systems.
• Experience in market surveys and adapting technological solutions to business processes, both as a requirement from the business side and as an initiative to improve business procedures.
• Responsibility for managing the information systems budget.
• Responsibility for leading the implementation processes of new information systems in the organization.
• Responsibility for providing advanced Data and BI solutions, including the development of reports and models according to business requirements.
• Responsibility for providing AI solutions, automation, and development from the planning and architecture stage through implementation and transition to production CD/CI.
• Experience in managing teams, vendors, and budgets.
• Certifications in the field of information security and cyber: CCSA / CISSP / CISM or another equivalent.
• Experience in critical infrastructure or transportation organizations - Significant advantage.
• High level of English.
