Editing and translation: Performs professional translation and editing of educational, methodological, scientific, and popular science literature, manuals, collections, and catalogs from Russian into English and German and vice versa. Working with electronic formats: Performs translation and editing of materials in electronic form (text editors, PDF files, web pages), ensuring the preservation of document structure and formatting. Terminology: Ensures accuracy and consistency of terminology (geological, educational, scientific), maintains a glossary, and ensures translations comply with professional standards. Stylistic processing: Brings texts into compliance with literary language norms, adapts the style of presentation for the target audience (scientific, educational, popular science). Verification and control: Conducts verification of translations against originals, eliminates semantic and stylistic inaccuracies, and performs proofreading. Interaction: Coordinates controversial translation issues with authors, editors, and methodologists of ANO. Compliance with deadlines: Completes assigned volumes of translation and editing within established deadlines, maintains records of completed work.
