MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Prodromos Salmanidis ABEE- Packaging Pellas, a plastics industry, which operates in the field of packaging materials for fruits and vegetables, is looking for people who will participate decisively in the daily processes of the smooth operation of the business, in order to actively contribute to the growth and sustainability of the company, and to the upgrading of the processes followed in production, the technical installations, and the equipment of the company.

Job Duties: Mechanical design of equipment purchases and evaluation of potential suppliers. Participation in the design of new products within the scope of the company's activities. Research and development of the required processes for their proper production. Scheduling of maintenance tasks, regular preventive maintenance, and total repair tasks, ensuring the effective operation of the system. Receiving and evaluating offers, and ordering materials required for the mechanical maintenance and repair of the company's machines. Ensuring the correct and safe execution of maintenance, installation, or modification tasks of the mechanical equipment. Updating the maintenance log, recording the tasks performed, including problems and various findings. Diagnosis and resolution of production process faults and active participation in regular preventive maintenance based on the technical needs of the factory. Mechanical design of production orders for products manufactured by the company itself. Offering expertise to production workers on subject-matter issues, ensuring the correct handling of the equipment. Required Qualifications: Candidate Profile: University/Technical Institute Degree in Mechanical Engineering Knowledge of English Language (written, spoken & technical terminology) Knowledge of mechanical drawings. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Solidworks will be particularly appreciated. Theoretical knowledge of thermal works, refrigeration, and hydraulic installations will be appreciated.
