Sales and Business Development

  • Drive revenue through the sale of exhibition space, sponsorship packages, digital advertising and event solutions.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities while expanding existing customer accounts.
  • Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue growth of assigned events.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and needs analysis through proposal, negotiation and closing.
  • Prepare sales proposals, quotations, presentations and commercial agreements.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and follow up with prospective customers effectively.

Key Account Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, industry partners and relevant stakeholders.
  • Understand customers’ business objectives and recommend tailored event and marketing solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for up selling, cross-selling and account expansion.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and encourage repeat participation in future events.
  • Act as a trusted business partner by providing relevant industry insights and commercial recommendations.

Consultative Selling

  • Conduct customer needs analysis and recommend solutions aligned with business and marketing objectives.
  • Present exhibition, sponsorship and digital opportunities in a compelling and value-driven manner.
  • Develop persuasive commercial proposals based on customer requirements and available event solutions.
  • Negotiate pricing, packages and commercial terms to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

Market and Industry Development

  • Build and expand professional networks across the travel, hospitality, MICE and events industries.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop an understanding of key industry players, emerging markets and potential customer segments.
  • Represent exhibitions, industry events, networking functions and customer meetings.

Cross-functional Collaboration and Reporting

  • Work closely with Marketing, Operations, Event and Digital teams to ensure successful customer delivery.
  • Coordinate internal resources to support customer requirements and event execution.
  • Maintain accurate customer information, sales activities, opportunities and forecasts in the CRM system.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, pipeline updates and revenue forecasts.
  • Collaborate effectively with local and international stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications: Proven experience in B2B sales, business development or key account management. Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer accounts. Experience working in a competitive and target-driven commercial environment. Experience in exhibitions, events, media, hospitality, travel, MICE or a related industry will be an advantage. Strong consultative selling, commercial negotiation and closing skills. Strong business acumen with a customer-centric approach. Excellent presentation, communication and relationship-building skills. Able to engage and build credibility with customers and stakeholders at different levels. Strong networking and new business development capabilities. Able to priorities multiple sales opportunities and manage the full sales cycle independently. Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office. Good command of English with the ability to work in an international and cross-cultural environment.
