Job Details
- Assist pharmacists in providing storefront services and prepare products/information to be ready for sale.
- Welcome customers, collect preliminary information, and maintain the storefront to be "fast, smooth, and organized."
- Know when to immediately hand over to a pharmacist (high-risk cases/uncertain cases = hand over).
- Recommend OTC products/vitamins/health equipment according to store guidelines, focusing primarily on helping the customer.
- POS/Cashier tasks: Key in sales, accept payments, issue receipts, close shift totals, and check prices/promotions for accuracy.
- Manage stock and storefront: Refill shelves, receive goods, count stock, attach labels, and organize categories.
- Control FIFO/FEFO + alert when items are running low/near expiration.
- Work as a team, assist pharmacists, and summarize important information (out of stock/low stock/near expiration).
Qualifications: High School / Vocational Certificate / High Vocational Certificate or higher. Bachelor's Degree in: Science / Public Health / Medical Technology (or related health fields). Experience in a Hospital/Clinic/Pharmacy ≥ 1 year (will be specially considered). Possess consultative selling skills (can recommend OTC products/vitamins/health equipment well). Service mind, communicate politely, clearly, and without making customers feel pressured. Love service work, enjoy sales, speak well, and smile easily. Can read English; can use POS / computers. Like stock work, product arrangement, back-office work, and are detail-oriented regarding expiration dates. Can use mobile phones/chat/basic POS systems and are fast learners. Experienced in shift work or working in a fast-paced environment. Disciplined, responsible, do not procrastinate, and can truly work as a team.
