Information Security Engineer

ensuring information protection in corporate information systems and on the network perimeter; monitoring and analyzing information security events, incident response; administration of information security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM systems, DLP, etc.); conducting security audits and vulnerability assessments (including coordinated pentests); development and updating of organizational and administrative information security documentation (policies, regulations, instructions); participation in the design and implementation of information security systems at various stages of the IS life cycle; interaction with international and regional partners (including from India and Nepal) on information security issues; translation and localization of technical documentation and information security instructions into Nepali and Indian languages (Hindi and/or others); consulting foreign divisions and clients in English, Nepali, and Indian (Hindi) languages on data protection and regulatory compliance issues; preparation of reports and presentations in English for management and partners.

Requirements

at least 3 years of experience as an information security engineer or information security specialist; understanding of international information security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.) and Russian legislation in the field of information protection (FZ-152, FZ-187, etc.); experience in administering information security tools and working with SIEM, DLP, IDS/IPS; knowledge of threat models, risk assessment methodologies, and attack mitigation methods; proficient English (level no lower than B2/Upper-Intermediate) for reading technical documentation, oral, and written communication; fluent Nepali - C1 level (reading, speaking, translation); fluent in one or more Indian languages - C1 level (preferably Hindi; knowledge of Tamil, Bengali, etc., is welcome) for communication with partners and localization of materials; possession of professional certificates (CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISM, etc.) will be an advantage.
