Coating Production Equipment Engineer

1. Plan and coordinate machine/equipment usage and allocation to meet production, capacity and delivery requirements.
2. Develop and execute preventive and corrective equipment maintenance plans to ensure machine reliability and minimize downtime.
3. Monitor equipment performance and utilization, analyze data to identify efficiency gaps and drive improvement actions.
4. Plan equipment upgrading, modification and replacement to support production capacity, quality and technology requirements.
5. Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
6. Manage equipment installation, commissioning and qualification for new or upgraded machines.
7. Establish and maintain equipment maintenance records, SOPs and spare parts inventory.
8. Work with production and quality teams to ensure equipment meets safety, quality and compliance standards.
9. Drive continuous improvement initiatives on equipment efficiency, cost and safety.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline. 3-5 years experience in PVD, vacuum coating, thin film coating or other surface treatment industries. Manufacturing or equipment engineering experience is and advantage.
