Sales Director Local Project
-Formulate and execute project sales strategies for upcountry/regional markets across both public and private sectors to achieve revenue, profitability, and overall business growth objectives. -Build and expand the project customer base by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with Developers, Owners, Main Contractors, Sub-contractors, Architects, Interior Designers, Consultants, Procurement teams, and Government agencies. -Manage, coach, and develop regional project sales teams; set clear targets and performance metrics to drive continuous sales growth and market expansion. -Build and manage a robust project sales pipeline, identify new opportunities, deliver compelling presentations, and track project milestones from inception to closing to ensure target achievement. -Oversee project sales processes for government and private tenders, including pricing, bidding, contract negotiations, and deal closing, ensuring both sales volume and target project margins are met. -Drive total sales volume to hit company targets. Manage sales revenue, gross margin, pricing structures, discounts, and project profitability, while overseeing timely payment collections. -Analyze regional market trends, ongoing project developments, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and customer needs to tailor localized sales strategies effectively. -Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports for senior management. Track pipeline status, sales performance, and key metrics across regions, proactively proposing corrective action plans when performance falls below targets. -Analyze customer insights and data to collaborate on marketing strategies that empower the sales team to drive revenue and maximize corporate profitability.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Architecture, Design, or a related field. At least 3–5 years of experience in sales team management at a Senior Manager, Head, or Director level. Minimum of 10–15 years of overall experience in Sales or Project Sales. Proven track record in B2B Project Sales management, with experience engaging Developers, Contractors, Architects, Interior Designers, and Procurement teams in both public and private sectors. Extensive experience in regional sales management, demonstrating the ability to effectively oversee multi-location sales teams. Industry expertise in building materials, interior decorative materials, flooring, wall cladding, tiles, natural stone, laminates, or related construction materials. Strong network and relationship-building capabilities with Developers, Main Contractors, Sub-contractors, Architects, Interior Designers, and Consultants. Demonstrated ability to manage strategic accounts and build long-term partnerships. Proficiency in systematic sales forecasting, pipeline management, and data-driven decision-making using sales performance and market data. Proven experience leading and scaling medium-to-large sales teams, with strong coaching skills to mentor and cultivate next-generation sales managers and leaders. Ability to establish structured sales processes and standardized operational frameworks for the team. Executive-level communication and presentation skills. Strong leadership with a high sense of accountability, decisive problem-solving abilities, and resilience under high-pressure environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and experience with CRM/ERP systems. Good command of English.
