Technical Writer - Student Position for a Defense Company

A leading defense company is looking for a Technical Writer for a part-time position (very suitable for students!). This is your opportunity to enter the defense industry, work closely with development and manufacturing engineers, and gain real experience that will advance your career.

What does the role involve?

• Writing and editing manufacturing instructions, assembly files, and routing cards (emphasis on composite materials and mechanical assemblies).
• Reading engineering drawings and translating them into clear work steps for the production floor.
• Working with advanced engineering systems (PLM / MES).
• Daily interface with the engineering, development, and manufacturing departments.

• Student or graduate of Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering Technician – Mandatory.
• Practical/military background as a composite builder, assembly technician, or materials technician – Significant advantage.
• Excellent ability to read technical drawings.
• High level of English (technical reading and writing) – Mandatory.
• Proficiency in Office and an affinity for engineering systems.
