Mechanical Engineer Required

For Schindler Israel, the leading company in the field of elevators and escalators, a Mechanical Engineering Technician is required. As part of the role: Technical support from the elevator sales stage until the elevator handover stage to the customer. Responsibility for characterization and ordering of elevators or elevator components. Design and modeling of parts according to strength of materials principles. Understanding and experience in manufacturing technologies—bending, welding, turning, milling. Responsibility for producing plans for the customer in accordance with elevator standards and Schindler norms. Working interface with assembly contractors, sales managers, elevator consultants, and the Standards Institution.

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering—Mandatory
• One year of experience in the field—Advantage
• Experience in the elevator field—Advantage
• Experience in characterization or pricing of elevators—Advantage
• Proficiency in AutoCad, SolidWorks software, including performing strength analyses.
• High level of English.
