Purchasing Buyer

Magal Solutions is a leading global company in the HLS field that develops control and command systems, and plans and executes integrative projects for the protection of strategic infrastructures and sites such as seaports, gas and oil sites, borders, and more. We are looking for a Purchasing Buyer with experience in the cabling field, subcontractors, internal procurement, and electronic products to join us in the Purchasing Department!

Location: Yehud (moving to Modi'in during 2026)

Responsibilities:

• Handling procurement requests from the stage of receiving the request, analyzing price quotes, managing negotiations, issuing orders, and monitoring and controlling the delivery date until the invoice is paid to the supplier
• Documenting the procurement process in the ERP system and presenting supporting data in a concise and clear manner to the order approvers
• Professional, in-depth, thorough, and comprehensive clarification of the request with the product/service requester within the organization
• Generating daily reports from the system to monitor the status of the request and the order until the delivery date, while correctly managing tasks according to their urgency
• Continuous search for new suppliers and subcontractors in Israel and abroad and performing sourcing, including managing negotiations in written and spoken English
• Managing the quality of strategic suppliers that influence most of the company's activity in the fields of cabling, subcontractors, and internal procurement
• Managing close working interfaces with all departments of the organization: Project Management, Presale, Post sale, R&D, Production, Service, Sales, IT, Human Resources.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of proven experience as a Purchasing Buyer in the cabling field, electronic products, subcontractors for cabling deployments and installations, or internal procurement in electronics, product, or project-based companies
• Experience working with Priority software in a cloud environment (WEB)
• Working with Office, with an emphasis on Excel
• High level of English – speaking, writing, and reading
• Education – studies in procurement/logistics – an advantage
• Experience in a project-based company in the low voltage field (HLS) - an advantage
• Managerial experience of a team of buyers/front-end procurement - an advantage
