Baran Group is recruiting an Operational Economist for Bar-El 27 Industries Bar-El 27 Industries from the Baran Group, specializing in the production of precast concrete products, requires an Operational Economist for a diverse role combining pricing, international procurement, project management, and process improvement. What do you do in this role?

Your tasks

Pricing of products, projects, and tenders, cost analysis, and profitability control. Working with international suppliers and managing procurement, import, and shipping processes. Working with the Priority system, implementing processes, and improving working methods. Handling tenders, identifying grants, and promoting requests. Working with the Standards Institution, Home Front Command, and regulatory bodies. Leading operational projects, implementing systems, and improving processes. Supporting production planning and control (PPC), logistics processes, and registering the company as a supplier with business and public entities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering and Management, Business Administration, or another relevant field – mandatory. High analytical ability and business and numerical thinking. Very good command of Excel and Office applications. High level of English, both written and spoken. Ability to learn quickly, initiative, personal responsibility, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience in pricing, procurement, operations, or Priority is an advantage, but not mandatory! Even recent graduates without experience are invited to apply. ?? Full-time position, Sun–Thu, 08:00–17:00, with willingness to work overtime as needed. ?? Work is in Ein Vered and Haifa, according to company needs and the work plan. </body>
