For our company, a leading import and distribution company in the food sector, an energetic and experienced Import Coordinator is required. The role includes managing and accompanying the import process from start to finish, working in a dynamic and international environment, and maintaining continuous contact with entities in Israel and abroad.

Main Areas of Responsibility:

  • Managing ongoing contact with suppliers abroad, shipping companies, customs brokers, and logistics companies.
  • Tracking shipments (sea and air) and real-time problem solving.
  • Preparation, checking, and submission of import documents (bills of lading, invoices, health certificates).
  • Working with authorities in Israel (Ministry of Health, Food Service).
  • Monitoring costs, approving invoices, and controlling the import budget.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to arrive independently to Park Taasiyot Lev HaAretz
  • At least 5 years of experience as an Import Coordinator – Mandatory (experience from a food/pharma company – a significant advantage).
  • Very high level of English (speaking, reading, and writing) – Mandatory.
  • Additional languages – advantage.
  • Familiarity with the regulation of the National Food Service and the Ministry of Health – a great advantage.
  • Full proficiency in Office applications (emphasis on Excel) and ERP software (SAP).
  • Ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and high level of order and organization.
