Foreign Procurement Officer

• Search for and evaluate potential overseas suppliers in the dried fruit group
• Analyze quality, price, delivery terms, and production capacity of suppliers
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and sales contracts in accordance with company policies
• Coordinate import documents such as Invoice, Packing List, B/L, Certificate of Analysis, COA, Health Certificate
• Procure and select new vendors/suppliers or foreign products, including equipment, tools, and office and factory supplies
• Coordinate with both existing and new vendors/suppliers to request detailed information, various certification documents, and quotations for raw materials, packaging, or products to compare prices and verify raw material and packaging specs
• Prepare procurement plans for raw materials, packaging, or foreign products
• Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) for approval by authorized persons and notify vendors/suppliers of order details, including delivery schedules for raw materials, packaging, or products, and follow up on deliveries with vendors/suppliers
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Quality Control (QC), Accounting, and Research and Development (R&D) departments
• Manage product samples for testing and forward them to relevant departments for evaluation
• Monitor and manage issues regarding quality or product returns
• Maintain and prepare monthly imported product costs and submit them to relevant departments
• Perform other duties as assigned by the company

Work Monday to Friday (8.30-17.30)

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Logistics Management/International Business, Business Administration, or other related fields At least 2 years of experience in foreign procurement (food industry experience will be specially considered) Good English language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing Proficient in computer skills such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and the internet Responsible / Punctual / Honest Able to communicate and coordinate well with various departments Good wit and excellent problem-solving skills Experience traveling abroad to Audit Suppliers Ability to start work immediately will be specially considered
