Business Liquidity Manager in the Capital Markets Division

Role Essence:

Responsibility for managing the bank's business liquidity in NIS and FX and managing liquidity risk through daily monitoring and management.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Managing a team of employees responsible for the daily monitoring and management of the bank's liquidity position using regulatory models and the bank's internal models.
• Formulating recommendations and executing actions in securities/derivatives/prices to change the liquidity position; preparing materials, reports, and presentations and presenting them to senior officials in the organization (bank management and the Board of Directors); maintenance and adaptation of models to business changes in the bank's activity and implementation of new regulations from the Bank of Israel/Basel. The role includes interfaces with various professional entities within and outside the bank, including: trading desks, business line managers in various divisions in the bank, the accounting division, Bank of Israel, Leumi Technologies, and more.

Full-time position, Sunday-Friday.

• Degree in Finance / Mathematics / Statistics
• Experience in team management
• Knowledge of financial markets and standard financial instruments (such as currency derivatives, bonds, REPO, etc.)
• 3-4 years of experience in liquidity management and liquidity risk in a banking system - advantage
• Good knowledge and familiarity with Bank of Israel liquidity regulation - advantage
• Analytical / mathematical / quantitative thinking
• Proficiency in Excel – mandatory
• English (writing, speaking, and reading) at a good level
• Knowledge of data mining software such as SAS, SQL – advantage
