As part of the role, continuous monitoring of trading room and proprietary desk activities is performed, identification of exposures and deviations, examination of events and failures, improvement of control processes, and formulation of a broad picture of trading activity. The role includes interfaces with the Capital Markets Division management, ongoing work with trading room and proprietary desk traders, the PMOS team, and a wide range of divisions and business units in the bank. Within this framework, the role serves as a central link in the interface between lines of defense, supporting decision-making processes with significant business impact and assisting in ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The role is suitable for analytical, sharp, and curious candidates, with the ability to identify trends, locate deviations, professionally and substantively challenge business factors, and understand the broad picture alongside attention to detail.
