Integration and Test Engineer for Micro Aerial Systems

For a technology company engaged in the development of advanced aerial systems for the defense and civilian markets, an Integration and Test Engineer for micro aerial systems is required.

Location:

Haifa and HaKrayot area

The Role:

Combines Hands-on work with complex and multi-disciplinary systems, ranging from prototype assembly, through performing system integration and testing, to flight tests, delivering systems to customers, and supporting operational systems.

Responsibilities:

• Performing final integration and testing of aerial systems, subsystems, and prototypes.
• Performing mechanical, electrical, electronic, software, and communication tests.
• Testing the integrity of wiring, assemblies, and interfaces between subsystems.
• Performing functional tests and Acceptance Test Procedures — ATP.
• Troubleshooting, investigating, and resolving technical faults.
• Writing and updating test procedures, ATP documents, and engineering reports.
• Working in accordance with quality procedures and documenting testing and verification processes.
• Leading assemblies, integration, and preparation of systems for testing.
• Routine work with system engineers and project managers.
• Participation in tests, including flight tests, as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Mechatronics Technician or Engineer — Mandatory.
• At least 3 years of experience in system integration and testing — Mandatory.
• Experience working with multi-disciplinary systems combining hardware, software, mechanics, and communication — Mandatory.
• Experience working with test equipment, instrumentation, and troubleshooting — Mandatory.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, system documents, and test procedures — Mandatory.
• Experience working with Embedded systems — Mandatory.
• High-level technical English, including writing reports and documents — Mandatory.
• Valid driver's license — Mandatory.
• Experience in a Linux environment and/or script writing — Advantage.
• Experience in aerial systems, drones, or UAVs — Significant advantage.
