Experienced Procurement Specialist for a Renewable Energy Company

For a leading company operating in the renewable energy sectors, an experienced Procurement Specialist is required.

Procurement Manager

Work at the company headquarters in the center of the country

Employment scope:

Full-time | One work day from home

Leading procurement processes in a project-based and dynamic environment. The role includes ongoing work with project managers, technical and operational entities, suppliers, and subcontractors in Israel and abroad.

Areas of responsibility

• Managing end-to-end procurement processes for projects in the electricity and energy sectors.
• Identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers and subcontractors in Israel and abroad.
• Receiving price quotes, performing commercial comparisons, and conducting negotiations on prices, engagement terms, and timelines.
• Issuing purchase orders and ongoing tracking of deliveries until completion.
• Close work with project managers and technical interfaces to understand project requirements and adapt procurement solutions.
• Managing engagements with subcontractors and monitoring compliance with commitments, budget, and timelines.
• Handling and approving invoices and performing procurement controls.
• Data management, cost analysis, and generating reports using Excel.
• Ongoing work in an ERP system.

Job requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Procurement Specialist in a project-based environment – Mandatory.
• Proven experience in procurement within the electricity / energy / renewable energy sectors – Mandatory.
• Experience working with subcontractors – Mandatory.
• Experience in procurement for projects involving equipment, systems, and technical components.
• Proven ability in commercial negotiation and engagements with suppliers.
• Experience working with multiple interfaces, including project managers and engineering/technical entities.
• Bachelor's degree or Industrial Engineering and Management technician / technical or relevant field.
• High level of English – Mandatory.
• High proficiency in Excel.
• Experience working with an ERP system – Mandatory; Priority – a significant advantage.
• Ability to work independently, order and organization, attention to detail, and the ability to drive multiple processes simultaneously.
