Large Business Underwriter (Temporary - Maternity Leave Replacement)

Menora Mivtachim, one of the leading insurance companies in Israel, is recruiting a Large Business Underwriter for a temporary position as a maternity leave replacement. The role involves underwriting business in the elementary branches, while working with direct clients, agents, and insurance consultants.

Main areas of responsibility:

• Management of renewals and new business - handling renewals of large portfolios across all their branches and submitting new business proposals
• Negotiation management - professional negotiation with agents and insurance consultants
• Insurance tenders - submission and handling of large insurance tenders, including facultative reinsurance
• Routine work - handling insurance approvals, specifications, establishing and reviewing reinsurance contracts
• Work interfaces - routine work with parallel departments in the industry and within the company

- Previous experience in underwriting business in the elementary branches - Mandatory

• High level of English - Mandatory
• Proficiency in Office software, specifically Excel - Mandatory
• Familiarity with the reinsurance world - Mandatory
• Experience working in a corporate headquarters and/or a large business department - Advantage
