Project Manager (Engineer)

The Project Manager (Engineer) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing watch case development and manufacturing projects from initial customer requirements through design, prototype development, process preparation, trial production, and mass production.

The position serves as a key coordinator between customers and internal departments, ensuring that project requirements, technical specifications, quality standards, cost targets, and delivery schedules are clearly communicated and achieved.

A. Project Management Manage and coordinate watch case projects from project initiation through completion and mass production. Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, and action plans. Define project priorities, deliverables, responsibilities, and target completion dates. Monitor project progress against agreed schedules and identify potential delays or risks. Follow up with responsible departments to ensure that project activities are completed on time. Organize and lead project meetings and follow up on action items. Prepare regular project status reports for management and relevant stakeholders. Ensure that project documentation and records are properly maintained. B. Customer and English Communication Communicate and coordinate with customers regarding product requirements, specifications, drawings, samples, technical issues, project schedules, and changes. Act as a key contact person between customers and internal teams throughout the project. Communicate technical information and customer requirements clearly to relevant departments. Prepare and respond to emails, reports, meeting minutes, and other business correspondence in English. Participate in meetings with international customers and provide project updates in English. Clarify customer requirements and coordinate internally to ensure that the requirements are properly understood and implemented. C. Design & Engineering Coordination Coordinate closely with Design Engineering regarding product drawings, 3D models, specifications, tolerances, materials, and technical requirements. Review project requirements with Design and Engineering teams before production preparation. Coordinate engineering changes and ensure that revised drawings, specifications, BOMs, and related documents are properly communicated. Follow up on prototype and sample development. Coordinate technical problem-solving between Design, Engineering, Production, and Quality teams. Ensure that design requirements are practical for manufacturing and aligned with production capabilities. D. Production Coordination Coordinate with Production, Production Engineering, Planning, and related departments to prepare projects for production. Ensure that production schedules are aligned with project milestones and customer delivery requirements. Follow up on prototype, trial production, and mass production activities. Monitor production progress and identify issues that may affect project timelines. Coordinate solutions

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field. Experience in Project Management, Engineering, New Product Development, Production Engineering, or Manufacturing. Experience in watch case, precision metal parts, CNC machining, milling, grinding, polishing, finishing, or similar manufacturing industries will be an advantage. Good understanding of manufacturing processes and production flow. Experience coordinating multiple departments and managing project timelines. Good command of English, both written and spoken. Strong communication and coordination skills. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with ERP/Odoo or other manufacturing systems will be an advantage. Able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
