Quality Control Officer (QC RM) (Based in Papua New Guinea)

Job Details

1. Control quality inspection work in production, from receiving raw materials, packaging, products in process, to finished products, to ensure they meet specified standards/quality.
2. Inspect raw material quality to comply with specified standards (Physical, Moisture, Defect, Sensory).
3. Control and monitor production parameters such as Defect, screen size, and moisture.
4. Perform coffee cupping to evaluate the quality and consistency of the coffee.
5. Prepare QC documents and quality inspection reports.
6. Analyze quality problems occurring in the production process and propose corrective and improvement guidelines.
7. Work together with the Production department, Warehouse department, and Product Development department.
8. Inspect cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the production process.
9. Support both internal and external Audits (if any).
10. Has a passion for drinking coffee.
11. Experience in a company position overseeing coffee quality (will be given special consideration).

Qualifications: Education: Diploma - Bachelor's Degree in Food Science and Technology or other related fields. Has a passion for drinking coffee and a special interest in coffee. Can communicate in English (Speaking, Reading, Writing) at a good level (if having TOEIC 650 or above, will be given special consideration). Has skills in using MS Office (Word, Excel) or can use AI in work at a good level. Is diligent and can endure pressure well. Has high responsibility and can solve immediate problems well. Able to travel to work abroad.
