Accounting Manager

Carmen Perfumes , a growing company specialized in the perfume industry with branches and business operations outside Egypt, is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. Job Summary We are looking for a highly capable Accounting Manager with strong experience in managing accounting and financial operations, preparing financial reports, monitoring costs and inventory, managing cash flow, and ensuring accurate and timely financial information to support management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise the full accounting cycle and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.

Review journal entries, general ledger accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash, and bank transactions.

Supervise monthly and annual closing procedures.

Prepare and review periodic financial reports for senior management.

Monitor cash flow, financial obligations, expenses, and working capital.

Prepare and monitor budgets and analyze actual versus budgeted results.

Supervise inventory accounting and product costing.

Monitor the cost of finished products, raw materials, packaging materials, and related expenses.

Review customer and supplier balances and ensure timely reconciliations.

Supervise periodic and annual inventory counts and investigate inventory variances.

Monitor tax obligations and coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors.

Monitor financial transactions related to the company's branches and business operations outside Egypt.

Review intercompany accounts and transactions.

Monitor foreign currency transactions and their impact on financial results.

Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Support the development and improvement of accounting and financial control systems.

Provide financial analysis and reports to support management decision-making.

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.

7–10 years of relevant accounting experience , preferably with previous managerial or supervisory experience.

Previous experience in Perfumes, Cosmetics, FMCG, Manufacturing, or Trading is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of inventory accounting and cost accounting.

Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Experience dealing with branches or companies outside Egypt is a strong advantage.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel .

Experience with ERP systems; Odoo, SAP, or Oracle is preferred.

V.Good command of written and spoken English.
