"Tahanat HaEven Coop" is looking for a Food Technologist for Imported Products, Regulation, and Quality Management (Rehovot + Deletun)
The company specializes in importing – with an emphasis on the Asian and Italian markets (sauces, dry products, etc.), alongside the operation of a bakery and a local production line.
The role combines office-based, regulatory, and commercial work with global suppliers at the company's offices in Rehovot, alongside leading the quality and technology system on-site at the company's bakery in Deletun (regular visits twice a month).
Full-time position, Sun-Thu between the hours 08:00-17:00 (with possibility for overtime as needed).
Education:
- Certified degree (B.Sc. / M.Sc.) in Food Engineering / Food Technology – Mandatory!
Certifications:
- Valid HACCP course certificate – Mandatory!
Languages:
- Very high level of English (ability for professional formulation in writing and speech, reading complex technical specifications, and routine work with manufacturers abroad) – Mandatory!
Mobility:
- Driver's license, car, and full willingness for regular trips to the factory in Deletun (twice a month) – Mandatory!
Experience:
- At least two years in the food industry – previous background from a production plant, bakery, or import company in QA / regulation roles – Significant advantage!
- Deep understanding and practical familiarity with production processes, product development, and quality control (preference for flour/bakery products or dry products).
- High ability for independent work, managing parallel tasks, and meeting deadlines under pressure.
- Broad systemic vision, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to provide service to internal and external organizational interfaces.
