Legal Counsel

Bank Discount is recruiting for a challenging role that includes legal support for the Technologies division, Strategy, and other leading units within the group.

Responsibilities:

• Providing ongoing legal support and advice in a variety of fields to different units in the bank and the bank group, according to areas of expertise, including complex technological procurement, innovation and innovative projects, Artificial Intelligence, privacy protection and information security, marketing regulation, and business continuity.
• Legal advice and ongoing support for the Technologies, Strategy, and other divisions.
• Drafting and editing contracts and other legal documents, including procurement agreements, etc.
• Legal accompaniment of innovative initiatives and collaborations.
• Preparation of legal opinions.
• Representing the organization before external entities, including regulators and the Bank Association on legal matters / representation in legal proceedings.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in legal consulting in a leading firm, a bank, or a corporation in the financial or technological field.
• Israeli license to practice law and membership in the Israel Bar Association.
• High level of English - including the ability to draft agreements and conduct negotiations.
• Familiarity/previous experience in the worlds of technology and Fintech, and complex procurement environments.
