VP Logistics for a leading international retail company

A leading retail company is looking for a VP Logistics

The position includes:

The role includes managing imports, logistics, warehouses, distribution, inventory control, and the online operation system. The role requires a significant emphasis on innovation, operational efficiency, budget management, and high-quality internal service,

• Leading change processes, optimization, and the implementation of innovation in supply chain processes, including supporting a project to transition to an automated logistics center (implementation of technological systems).
• Managing logistics budgets, including planning, control, efficiency, and cost reduction, alongside analyzing outputs and workloads in accordance with manpower needs and the chain's sales.
• Overall responsibility for the group's logistics and warehouse system.
• Managing and leading a professional team, including middle management.
• Managing the online field from a logistical and operational perspective, including responsibility for an external distribution system.
• Managing the import system of the company's products: fashion, beauty, and the house brand.
• Responsibility for the inventory control field, including maintaining levels of accuracy, availability, and synchronization with launching departments.
• Providing full logistical and operational service to the chain's stores, including managing and operating an internal distribution system for all stores.
• Managing regulatory processes and compliance with regulatory requirements, including working with the Standards Institution, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Agriculture.
• Routine work with internal interfaces and with the parent company abroad.

• At least 5 years of experience in senior management roles in the supply chain / logistics field – preference for experience in global retail companies.
• Experience in leading large teams, including managing middle management.
• Proven experience in managing a warehouse and distribution system for stores, including familiarity with automated warehouses and automation-based work processes.
• Experience in inventory management in a retail chain, while maintaining levels of accuracy and availability.
• Understanding and practical experience in the field of imports and regulation, including working with the Standards Institution, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Agriculture.
• Full command of systems - ERP, WMS, BI – mandatory.
• High level of English – speaking, reading, and writing.
