Accountant for a global company in Tel Aviv (Maternity Leave Replacement)

An amazing global company is looking for an Accountant for a maternity leave replacement (at least six months), the position includes:

The role is a central factor in managing the financial and accounting activities of the company, with responsibility for financial reporting, financial control, and compliance with regulatory requirements. A significant managerial role involving leading finance teams, managing the accounting department, and managing the cash control department. Routine work with the company's management, external accountants, auditors, and regulatory bodies. Reporting to the company's CFO.

Financial Reporting and Control

• Financial reporting and control
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Responsibility for month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Control over compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and audit procedures.
• Routine work with external accountants, auditors, and tax authorities.
• Preparation of financial reports for management and analyses supporting decision-making.
• Professional management of the Assistant Accountant.

Management and Leading Professional Teams

• Leading control and optimization processes within the finance system.
• Performing routine financial controls and examining discrepancies.
• Responsibility for reporting to tax authorities and regulatory bodies.

Job Requirements

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Mandatory.
• At least 3 years of experience in a role as a Corporate Accountant or Assistant Accountant - Mandatory.
• Proven managerial experience in leading professional teams - Mandatory.
• Experience in a commercial and/or retail company - Significant advantage.
• High proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
• High level of English.
• High analytical ability and broad business vision.
• Ability to lead processes and work with multiple interfaces.
• Order, organization, precision, and ability to dive into details.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment.
