Corporate Controller for a leading industrial company in the North

"A leading industrial company in the North requires a Corporate Controller. The position includes: responsibility for the ongoing accounting and financial activity of the company, preparation of financial and managerial reports, monthly and quarterly closings, budget control, and financial data analysis. The role constitutes a significant part of the finance department's management team and includes ongoing work with the company's management, subsidiaries abroad, professional parties within the organization, auditing accountants, and external entities.

Areas of responsibility: • Responsibility for bookkeeping and ongoing accounting activity, including General Ledger (GL). • Leading monthly and quarterly closing processes. • Preparation of monthly reports for management and analysis of financial performance. • Preparation of quarterly reports for the Board of Directors. • Preparation of annual financial statements and ongoing work with auditing accountants. • Responsibility for financial conduct and reporting towards subsidiaries abroad. • Preparation of budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and budget control. • Performing financial analyses, variance analysis, and cost control. • Supporting business decision-making regarding pricing, investments, and cost structure. • Responsibility for the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of internal controls and financial procedures. • Management and leadership of an Assistant Controller. • Working with government entities regarding grants, incentives, and ongoing reporting. • Responsibility for compliance with regulatory requirements, reporting, and accounting procedures. • Streamlining and improving reporting, control, and automation processes within the ERP system. • Ongoing work with senior management, operations, project managers, and other interfaces within the organization. • Integration as part of the finance department's management team."

"• CPA license – Mandatory. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a relevant field. • At least 3 years of experience as a Controller or a similar senior financial role. • Proven experience in preparing financial statements, monthly and quarterly closings, and reporting to management. • Experience working with subsidiaries abroad. • High analytical abilities and the ability to analyze and present data and financial reports. • Very high proficiency in Excel. • High level of English – reading, writing, and speaking. • Ability to work independently alongside working in multiple interfaces. • Previous experience in an industrial / manufacturing company. • Experience in a global or exporting company. • Experience working with Priority. • Experience in budget control, pricing, and cost analysis. • Experience working with subsidiaries and international business activity. • Experience in leading improvement and control processes in ERP systems."
