As part of our growth, we are looking for a Production Shift Supervisor for our central facilities in the city of Serres.

Job Description:

• Plans, supervises, and coordinates production activities
• Manages and supervises personnel so that synergies are achieved between machine operation and workforce labor
• Is responsible for compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Food Safety Practices, Good Hygiene and Safety Practices, as well as other Company Practices and Policies
• Researches and makes proposals for new production methods with the aim of increasing the efficiency of the company's production unit
• Investigates the causes of functional downtime and ensures the finding of methods to reduce it
• Collaborates with the Technical Department, the Quality Control Department, and the Quality Assurance Department, as well as the Supply Chain and Accounting departments, with the aim of meeting production targets, serving customers, and ensuring the most economical operation of the unit
• Contributes to the training, development, and motivation of employees & is responsible for scheduling their shifts
• Ensures the fulfillment of the production unit's goals and performance indicators
• Is a member of the HACCP team and the new product development team

Required Qualifications:

• University graduate in Food Technology/Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineers. Postgraduate degree is desirable
• Desirable experience of 3-5 years in a similar position, preferably in the food sector
• Very good knowledge of English
• Very good knowledge of computer operation and Office applications (MS Office)
• Desirable knowledge of ERP programs. Knowledge of SAP is a competitive advantage
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and team spirit
• Planning and organization, methodical approach, respect for procedures
• Ability to work in shifts
